Ok, now school is out for summer! Well, except for an online class and follow-up readings for the medical nutrition therapy class I just wrapped up… once a student, always a student I guess. Yet, the flexibility of an online course does allow me to jump back into work at the farmers market and some writing projects on the side.

Policies related to school food and other institutions (hospitals, for example) are very interesting to me, and while positive changes to cafeteria food and then the consumption of these new healthy offerings does not happen overnight, it’s an area of nutrition that I feel deserves great attention.
